The amethyst has only been tumbled with silicon carbide to remove external impurities; no abrasive or polishing paste or the like has been used during the tumbling process. Therefore, the amethyst stones are ideal for preparing gemstone water, for example.
These amethysts are also well suited for other applications of modern gemstone healing, e.g. for harmonizing apartments and houses and for setting a stone circle.
The Tumbled Stones are approx. 3,0 - 4,5cm in size; per packaging unit with 1kg you will receive approx. 21 - 25 Amethyst Stones.
The name amethyst is derived from the Greek word amethystos (counteracting intoxication) and refers to the traditional belief that with an amethyst one is protected against the intoxicating effects of wine and other alcohol. Spellings such as Amathyst, Amethist, Ametist, Ametyhst, Ametyst, Amnethyst, Amthyst or Amythist are therefore incorrect.
