Other names for the Angelite are Anhydrite, Angel Stone, Bardiglionite as well as Luminous Stone. In mineralogy also Anhydrite, Gekrösstein, Karstenite and Muriacite are common synonyms.
Anhydrite as a rough stone is very splintery and completely cleavable; therefore, for the production of Tumbled Stone, the stone is waxed with paraffin.
