The color of the stone has also led to the name Strawberry Quartz, sometimes used in retail and wholesale trade. Iron Quartz is also called Iron Quartz, Hemantoite, Lepidocrocite or Harlequin Quartz. In the English-speaking world, the red-orange Iron Quartz is also erroneously called Peach Aventurine. The name Hematoide/Hämatoit is taken from the English language.
