Although the name "Caribbean Calcite" suggests that this blue-green Calcite with inclusions and streaks of Aragonite, which has only been known since 2019, originates from the Caribbean, the mineral was actually found in Baluchistan (southwest Pakistan).

Like all calcites, Caribbean calcite accelerates developments, strengthens drive and steadfastness. The blue-green color adds a harmonizing and calming aspect. Synonyms do not exist except Aquacalcite at the moment; only the English name Caribbean Calcite can be found in the trade.
