A great new find from Tanzania: various Feldspars with Hematite inclusions!
This new material is on the market under the trade name Arusha Sunstone.
We were able to get hold of a small barrel of rough stones and have cut these beautiful round drops from it.
Size of the round drops of sunstone about 2.8 - 3.2cm, diameter of the hole about 2.5mm.
Sunstone belongs to the minerals of the Feldspar group. Another trade name of this special variety is confetti sunstone.
