The hearts made of light purple or less color-intensive amethyst (C quality) are about 4cm in size.
On the polished back side of the amethyst hearts you can see the dark gray matrix, on the front side the typical crystal lawn (druzy) of the mineral.
Per packaging unit (VE) you get four raw Druzy hearts.
The name amethyst is derived from the Greek word amethystos (counteracting intoxication) and refers to the traditional belief that with an amethyst you are protected against the intoxicating effects of wine and other alcohol. Spellings such as Amathyst, Amethist, Ametist, Ametyhst, Ametyst, Amnethyst, Amthyst or Amythist are therefore incorrect.
