The hearts made of light purple, less color-intensive amethyst (C quality) are about 3.0 - 3.5cm in size.
On the back side of the amethyst hearts you can see the dark gray matrix, on the front side the typical crystal lawn (druzy) of the mineral.
Per box you get four raw druzy hearts.
The name amethyst is derived from the Greek word amethystos (counteracting intoxication) and refers to the traditional belief that with an amethyst you are protected against the intoxicating effects of wine and other alcohol. Spellings such as Amathyst, Amethist, Ametist, Ametyhst, Ametyst, Amnethyst, Amthyst or Amythist are therefore incorrect.
