Labradorite as a rough stone is very inconspicuous - but with a professional polish, the hues of the mineral come out very well.

The rough stones in this flat are polished on one side, the rest is unpolished.

Size of the labradorite pieces about 4 - 6cm, in the package are 35 labradorite cuts from Madagascar.

In stone healing, the dark Labradorite (Feldspar) is valued for its effect, because the mineral strengthens intuition, depth of feeling and medial gifts - use the cuts from this set therefore, for example, for laying a stone circle for meditation!

In the 18th century, the first Labradorites came to Europe, after they were found in 1770 on the Canadian peninsula Labrador. The Czech missionary Father Adolf found the first pieces there, when the Herrnhuter founded numerous settlements on the forest-covered peninsula in the Atlantic.
settlements on the forest-covered peninsula in the Atlantic. The mineral was given its name "Labradorite" in 1832 by the French mineralogist and professor François Bedaunt (1787 - 1850) because of its location on the Labrador Peninsula. Occasionally encountered spellings such as labardorite, labradoride, labradoriet, labradorite, labratorite or lapradorite are therefore incorrect.
