Belly rhodonite hearts with a size of about 4.5 x 4.0cm.

Stone healing according to Michael Gienger uses Rhodonite as a stone of understanding and forgiveness.

The worldwide spread of the heart symbol through art, playing cards and religious heart worship has made it probably the most popular non-geometric symbol. To this day, the heart is considered the sign of love and partnership.

The first scientific description of Rhodonite was made in 1819 by the German naturalist Christoph Friedrich Jasche. The pink color inspired Jasche to name it "Rhodonite," which is derived from the Greek word "rhodon" meaning rose or rose-scented. Occasional spellings like rhodonite, rodonite or rodonite are therefore not correct.
