We know from grave finds that obsidian mirrors were already known over 10,000 years ago: In southern Anatolia, excavations from the late Stone Age prove the use of this mystical object. In Mexico, the obsidian mirror was attributed to the god of providence and omniscience, Tecatlipoca.

Modern stone healing uses Obsidian to rediscover, confront and reintegrate repressed aspects of consciousness. Obsidian also strengthens one's own perception. Obsidian is very popular as a gemstone for meditation.

The size of the round obsidian slice is around 7 to 8 cm with a thickness of approx. 0.8 cm.
