Necklace apatite (stab.), cube (4mm) faceted, rhodium plated, extension chain

Apatite necklace consists of faceted cubes of size 4 x 4 x 4mm.

Due to the extension chain, the necklace can be worn in lengths between 43 and 47cm.

The extension chain and the clasp are made of rhodium-plated silver 925.

The name apatite is derived from the Greek word "apatáo" for "to deceive" and was coined in 1786 by the German mineralogist Abraham Gottlob Werner (1749 - 1817). Since apatite occurs in numerous different forms and colors, there is a great danger that apatite will be mistaken for another mineral. Spellings like apartith, apathite, apatite, appatite or apatiet are not correct.
