Power bracelets - from fashion gag to perennial favorite! What began as a fashionable gag in spring 2000 is now a popular standard item in every well-stocked stone and jewelry store. The rubberized Buddha bracelets can be slipped on quickly and give a fresh and youthful appearance at any age.
Power bracelets are also very popular in stone healing, as the bands are unknotted and do not contain any metal.
The diameter of the beads of the Buddha bracelet is approx. 8mm, the length of the power bracelet approx. 18cm.
The name "Mookaite" is derived from the largest deposit of the mineral in the Kennedy Range, around 1000km north of the Western Australian capital Perth. Mookaite is mined there along the Mooka Creek. In the Aboriginal language, "Mooka" means "flowing water" and refers to the numerous springs in the area. Spellings such as Mokaite, Mokaid, Mokaait or Moukait are therefore incorrect. The only synonym for mookait is currently Australian jasper.
