The faceted rectangular slices of Mookaite are approx. 2 x 1 cm in size.

The mookaite bracelet is threaded onto an elastic band to make it easy to put on and take off; the length of the faceted plate bracelet is approx. 19 cm.

Mookaite (chert) is used in stone healing to strengthen variety, fun and intense experiences. The stone helps to develop alternatives and then flexibly select the appropriate option.

The name "Mookaite" is derived from the largest deposit of the mineral in the Kennedy Range, about 1000km north of the Western Australian capital Perth. Mookaite is mined there along the Mooka Creek. In the Aboriginal language, "Mooka" means "flowing water" and refers to the numerous springs in the area. Spellings such as Mokaite, Mokaid, Mokaait or Moukait are therefore incorrect. The only synonym for Mookaite is currently Australian jasper.
