The beautiful Mookaitarmband with the typical color spectrum of the mineral consists of faceted buttons with a diameter of 4mm. Through the extension chain, the bracelet is wearable in length between 19and 21cm.
Lobster clasp, eyelet and extension chain are made of rhodium-plated silver 925.
Mookaite (also called chert) is used in gemstone healing when variety, fun and intense experiences are desired. The mineral makes flexible and stimulates to deal with different possible solutions and thus find the optimal solution.
The name "Mookaite" is derived from the largest discovery site of the mineral in the Kennedy Range, about 1000km north of the Western Australian capital Perth. Mookaite is mined there along Mooka Creek. "Mooka" means "flowing water" in the Aboriginal language and refers to the numerous springs in the area. Spellings such as Mokaite, Mokaid, Mokaait or Moukait are therefore incorrect. The only synonym for Mookaite at present is Australian Jasper.
