Almost too beautiful to give away:
This bottle stopper is topped with a piece of petrified wood!

The Petrified Wood, from which these small pieces of branches have been cut, comes from conifers of the genus Araucaria and is about 230 million years old (period: Triassic).

Place of discovery: Valley of Ankavandra, between Antananarivo in the center of Madagascar and Maintirano on the west coast of the island.

Size of the petrified wood about 4cm, total length of the wine stopper about 10cm.

Petrified Wood is also called tree quartz.
