The luminous Turquoise-blue Apatite (blue) beads have a diameter of 6mm; in total, the Apatite strand has a length of about 40cm.
In gemstone medicine according to Michael Gienger, the effect of apatite is appreciated when motivation is to be strengthened and determination is to be supported.
The name apatite is derived from the Greek word "apatáo" for "to deceive" and was coined in 1786 by the German mineralogist Abraham Gottlob Werner (1749 - 1817). Since apatite occurs in numerous different forms and colors, there is a great danger that apatite will be confused with another mineral. Spellings like apartith, apathite, apatite, appatite or apatiet are not correct.
Bright turquoise apatite is also called neon apatite.
