Transparent green-blue Apatite - a fantastic color and quality!
The small apatite discs are about 3mm thick and 5mm in diameter. Length of the apatite strand about 40cm.
In stone healing apatite is used to overcome inertia and apathy and to act (again) purposefully.
The name apatite is derived from the Greek word "apatáo" for "to deceive" and was coined in 1786 by the German mineralogist Abraham Gottlob Werner (1749 - 1817). Since apatite occurs in numerous different forms and colors, there is a great danger that apatite will be confused with another mineral. Spellings like apartith, apathite, apatite, appatite or apatiet are not correct.
