The blue quartz strand shows different shades of blue from light blue to dark blue.
The diameter of the beads is approx. 4mm, the entire bead strand is approx. 39cm long, which is sufficient for a necklace with a Clasp and intermediate parts or two bracelets.
In gemstone healing, blue quartz is valued for its effect of emphasizing the lightness of life and strengthening calmness of mind and the ability to listen actively.
From a mineralogical point of view, blue quartz is a quartz with inclusions of Dumortierite and is therefore also called Dumortierite quartz. Occasionally the misleading term sapphire quartz is also used; a synonym for blue quartz is varnish quartz.
