The blue quartz strand shows different shades of blue from light blue to dark blue.
The diameter of the beads is about 4mm, the whole strand of beads is about 39cm long, so enough for a necklace with clasp and intermediate parts or two bracelets.
In stone healing, blue quartz is valued for its effect of emphasizing the lightness of life, as well as strengthening the peace of mind and the ability to actively listen.
Mineralogically, blue quartz is a quartz with inclusions of Dumortierite and is therefore also called Dumortierite quartz. Occasionally, the misleading term sapphire quartz is also found; a synonym for blue quartz is glaze quartz.
