In this gemstone strand of carnelian (gebr.) from tumbled rough stones, carnelian stones are found in all the typical colors of this type of stone: the spectrum ranges from almost transparent light yellow to numerous orange tones to dark red.

The small carnelian nuggets are about 10 - 12mm in size, the entire strand is about 38cm long.

In gemstone therapy, the mineral Carnelian is valued to promote courage, steadfastness and idealism.

In the trade Carnelian is occasionally called Serdolik, more common are the names Coralin/Coralin, Blood Agate or Flesh Agate.
