The translucent garnet beads look almost light pink due to their transparency - very attractive in combination with e.g. other pink stones!
The diameter of the balls is 1.75mm, the entire strand is 40cm long.
Origin of the raw material: Mozambique
Already Hildegard von Bingen dealt with the effect of garnet under the then common name carbuncle (Carbunkel).
