Intense pink with glittering facets - a beautiful rhodonite strand!
Thickness of the faceted buttons about 3mm, diameter about 4mm; total length of the strand about 40cm.
Rhodonite is used in stone healing in situations where mutual understanding and forgiveness is required.
The first scientific description of Rhodonite was made in 1819 by the German naturalist Christoph Friedrich Jasche. The pink color inspired Jasche to name it "Rhodonite," which is derived from the Greek word "rhodon" meaning rose or rose-scented. Occasional spellings like rhodonite, rodonite or rodonite are therefore not correct.
