Strand cylinder "Heishi", Rhodonite, 03 x 06mm (39 cm)

This gemstone strand shows with pink-pink and black the two typical colors of the mineral Rhodonite. The flat slices of the strand are 6mm in diameter and about 3mm thick, the entire rhodonite strand has a length of 39cm.

In analytical stone healing, the Rhodonite is used because it supports the themes of understanding and forgiveness by its effect.

The first scientific description of Rhodonite was made in 1819 by the German naturalist Christoph Friedrich Jasche. The pink color inspired Jasche to name it "Rhodonite," which is derived from the Greek word "rhodon" meaning rose or rose-scented. Occasional spellings like rhodonite, rodonite or rodonite are therefore not correct.
