The gemstone balls of Sardonyx in white-cream, red-brown and black have a diameter of 14mm; in total, the ball strand has a length of about 38cm.

The name Sardonyx is composed, like the mineral itself, of the black-white Onyx and the orange-brown Sard; the spelling Sardonix is therefore not correct.
