Strand cuboid, Falcon's Eye, coarse faceted, 15 - 11-12mm

An unusual strand!

The roughly faceted rectangular cuboids of blue Tiger's Eye (Falcon's Eye) are approx. 15 x 11-12mm in size; the entire chain strand is approx. 40cm long. Each of the four sides of the rectangle is faceted slightly differently, so that the strands - and thus the resulting piece of jewelry - sparkles vividly despite the dark color.

The classic uses of the Falcon's Eye are to aid in seeing through and (critical) distance. With the help of the stone, it is easier to maintain an overview in complex situations.

Another common name for the Falcon's Eye in retail and wholesale is fiber quartz. From the English name "Hawk's Eye" or "Hawks Eye" for blue Tiger's Eye derives the nowadays rather uncommon name Hawk's Eye.
