The author Elisabeth Miesala-Sellin is a biologist and has been working successfully as a health and flower consultant for 35 years. In 1997 she discovered the correlation of effects between Bach flowers and gemstones, which she published together with Michael Gienger in 2000 (Stein und Blüte, Neue Erde).
