Melanie Struck grew up in a small town in the district of Goslar and joined the police force in 1988, where she was assigned to both patrol and investigative duties. A few years ago, she discovered a special sensitivity in relation to stones and continues to train in this area. Due to traumatic events she faced both on duty and in her personal life, she became ill and retired. She is married and has two children.
