This coral pendant with gold plated silver 925 is incl. the eyelet 3,5 x 2,0cm big. The oval cabochon is 20mm big and weighs 24ct
Frame setting and eyelet are made of gold plated silver 925; silver weight 0,84g. Inner diameter of the eyelet 5mm.
The red fossilized horn coral comes from Rileys Canyon near Kamas in Utah. The corals were formed about 300 million years ago; so they are not endangered coral species living today!
The former coral reefs are nowadays high in the mountains of Utah. Since the coral is no longer mined, it is becoming increasingly difficult to obtain cabochons or coral jewelry with beautiful designs.
