This classic pendant made of rhodium-plated silver 925 is incl. the eyelet 4,0 x 2,0cm big. The oval cabochon measures 25 x 20mm, weighs 23ct and is set in zarge; inner diameter of the eyelet 4mm. The garnet weighs 0.1ct and is 3mm in size.
Frame setting and eyelet are rhodium plated silver 925; silver weight 3g.

The red fossilized horn coral comes from Riley's Canyon near Kamas in Utah. The corals were formed about 300 million years ago, so they are not endangered coral species living today!

The former coral reefs are nowadays high in the mountains of Utah. Since the coral is no longer mined, it is becoming increasingly difficult to obtain cabochons or coral jewelry with beautiful designs.
