St.-Marie-aux-Mines—a truly special trade show!
The fair in St.-Marie-aux-Mines—it’s more than just a massive selection of gemstones, jewelry, minerals, and fossils from all over the world!
The fair in St.-Marie-aux-Mines—it’s all about the power of the elements, because unlike other fairs, this one takes place primarily in tents and outdoors. But whether it’s hail, sweltering heat, or steady rain—we’re prepared for anything, so you can relax in our tents with a cup of coffee or a refreshing glass of water while browsing jewelry, drilled focal components, donuts, gemstone strands, and silver findings.
The St.-Marie-aux-Mines fair—it’s a unique location, because this otherwise peaceful little town becomes the mineralogical hub of Europe for five days in June. Nearly a thousand dealers from over 50 countries around the world showcase a diverse selection across approximately 32,000 m² (We did the math: that’s about 4 ½ Bundesliga soccer fields!) with a diverse selection of items. Every open space and public building is put to use—the town square becomes a tent city, the theater a mineral paradise, and the swimming pool is filled with Meteorites and other rarities.
The trade show in St.-Marie-aux-Mines—for us, this is one of the highlights of the year, because customers from all over the world gather at our two booths, some making just a quick trip across the Rhine, while others fly in all the way from Taiwan specifically for the event. All our customers are, of course, curious to see what we have to offer this year and are looking forward to new items, rarities, and select treats.
The trade show in St.-Marie-aux-Mines also means packing, packing, packing—because both booths need to be stocked with merchandise, and we need computers, pens, and much more. When packing for the show, we pay special attention to our gift-delivery service for our customers: Since we obviously can’t take our entire product range with us to St. Marie (after all, we have over 1,000 m² of retail space in Ludwigsburg), we ask our customers to place advance orders for any items they’d like. We’ll then pack these specifically for you and bring them along to St. Marie. Once there, you can take your time to look through what we’ve packed especially for you. Please take advantage of this service—which is free and non-binding—especially for standard items. This way, you’ll have more time on site to browse through our new arrivals and rare finds and get advice from us.
