These include azure d'acre, azurum ultramarinum, bleu d'azure, lapis lazuli ultramarine, lazure stone/lazure stone, lazurium, oltremare, oriental blue, outremer lapis, pierre d'azure, ultramarine genuine, ultramarine ino/verdadero, ultramarine natural scythium. Lapis Lazuli was used in ancient Egypt in the death masks of pharaohs; therefore, the dark blue stone is also called pharaoh stone.
