Although the name "Caribbean-Calcite" suggests that this blue-green Calcite with inclusions and streaks of Aragonite, which has only been known since 2019, comes from the Caribbean, the mineral was actually found in Balochistan (southwest Pakistan).

Like all calcites, Caribbean calcite accelerates development and strengthens energy and stability. The blue-green color adds a harmonizing and calming aspect. There are currently no synonyms other than aquacalcite; only the English name Caribbean calcite can be found on the market.
