Origin of the raw material: South Africa
Banded ironstone is also known as banded iron formation (BIF), as the mineral consists of alternating layers of iron oxides and low-iron chert. The overall high iron content makes Iron Stone a valuable companion - drive, initiative and willpower as well as stamina are strengthened.
