A true rarity in the mineral and gemstone trade: The raw material for these Amazonite Smooth Stones comes from the Kola Peninsula in Russia. Amazonite from this source has been virtually unavailable on the market for quite some time.
A few years ago, we were able to acquire a small batch of raw material, which we processed into various shapes at our cutting workshop in Haifeng.
Each Amazonite Smooth Stone is pre-shaped by hand, then cut and polished. This results in pleasantly flat, easy-to-handle stones with their own unique character.
The Amazonite Smooth Stones measure approximately 3.0–3.5 cm in diameter and are only about 0.6–0.9 cm thick. Their flat shape makes them suitable for numerous uses. For example, they can be used as pocket stones or palm stones. In crystal healing, smooth stones are also often secured with a suitable adhesive patch so they can be worn comfortably directly against the body.
One Packing Unit contains 0.5 kg, which is approximately 28–32 Amazonite stones. This practical wholesale unit is ideal for mineral shops, museum shops, specialty gemstone stores, and other retailers.
Amazonite is a blue-green variety of the potassium feldspar microcline. Its characteristic green to blue-green coloration makes it a popular choice for jewelry and as a Tumbled Stone. Their origin on the Kola Peninsula lends these smooth stones an additional special appeal in terms of mineralogy and commercial history.
In traditional crystal healing, Amazonite is considered a stone of balance. It supports the harmonious interplay of the mind and intuition and is traditionally used when both aspects need to be brought into harmony.
