The extra-quality marabaamethyst Smooth Stones have a size of approx. 2.8 - 3.4 cm and a thickness of approx. 0.4 - 0.9 cm.

Per Packing Unit with 0.25kg - deviating from the usual package size with 0.5kg! - contains about 28 - 32 flat amethyst stones.

The name amethyst is derived from the Greek word amethystos (counteracting intoxication) and refers to the traditional belief that an amethyst protects against the intoxicating effects of wine and other alcohol. Spellings such as Amathyst, Amethist, Ametist, Ametyhst, Ametyst, Amnethyst, Amthyst or Amythist are therefore incorrect.
