Shiva's Eye amulet engraved, with pouch insert

Cut and engraved from the protective stone known in many cultures as Agate, the eye symbol is said to ward off and destroy negative influences. It is considered a strong protective amulet.

The engraved Shiva eyes are supplied with a cord and explanatory card (in German) in a plastic pouch.

Size of the Focal component made of Agate approx. 3.5 cm, length of the brown cord with sliding knot variable between 44 and 60 cm.

The Indian deity Shiva is usually depicted with three eyes. While the left and right eyes symbolize the sun and moon and stand for the worldly influence of the deity, the third eye symbolizes spiritual knowledge and power. The word Shiva is derived from the Sanskrit term Siva (auspicious one) and refers to one of the most important deities in Hinduism. Spellings such as Shiwa or Siwa are therefore incorrect.
