Pure amethyst!
These rough amethyst stones have been only lightly tumbled to remove sharp edges and have been drilled (hole diameter: 2.5 mm).
The size of the drilled amethysts is approximately 30–40 mm.
Amethyst is valued for its ability to support spirituality and aid in meditation.
The name “amethyst” is derived from the Greek word amethystos (meaning “anti-intoxication”) and refers to the traditional belief that an amethyst protects against the intoxicating effects of wine and other alcoholic beverages. Spellings such as Amathyst, Amethist, Ametist, Ametyhst, Ametyst, Amnethyst, Amthyst, or Amythist are therefore incorrect.
