Cabochon round apatite (stab.) drilled, 2.5cm

The drilled round cabochons made of blue Apatite (stab.) are approx. 2.5cm in size. With a thickness of approx. 6.5mm and the flat back, the drilled apatites are very comfortable to wear.

In modern gemstone healing according to Michael Gienger, apatite is used when a stone with an activating, motivating effect is required.

The name apatite is derived from the Greek word "apatáo" meaning "to deceive" and was coined in 1786 by the German mineralogist Abraham Gottlob Werner (1749 - 1817). Since apatite localities in numerous different forms and colors, there is a great danger that apatite will be confused with another mineral. Spellings such as apartite, apathite, apatite, appatite or apatiet are incorrect.
