The winged Leo “Pi Xiu” is an ancient mythical creature from Chinese mythology. It is considered the ninth son of the dragon and possesses an infallible sense for silver and Gold. It is considered the ideal companion for students and travelers, as it brings good luck and preserves it.
Jade—the Emperor’s Stone
In Chinese, “Yu” refers to a group of minerals whose use can be traced back as far as 8,000 years. Over time, a veritable cult developed around this stone. Art objects and jewelry made of jade were regarded as good-luck charms and were highly prized, with the finest pieces reserved for the Imperial Court.
Our six amulets are carved from the rarest and most precious variety of jade: genuine jadeite jade from Burma.
The intricately hand-engraved pendants measure approximately 3 to 4.5 cm and are strung on an artfully knotted cord. Woven beads and other elements complete the harmonious design. Each jade pendant comes in an attractive presentation box.
