This figurine combines the beauty of the gemstone with the lightness of the butterfly.

It is designed, for example, for the interchangeable system for front-drilled stones, e.g. model "Flower" order no. 242005110025, but can also be worn simply with a fabric strap.

Size: approx. 42 x 40 mm

In many cultures, butterflies are regarded as a symbol of change and transformation due to their transformation from an inconspicuous caterpillar through pupation to a dazzling, colorful insect.

Dumortierite is also known as the "take it easy stone", as the mineral is often used in gemstone healing when stressful things need to be released.

Dumortierite was first discovered in 1881 in a quarry in the French department of Rhône; the first scientific description was made by mineralogist M.F. Gonnard. He named the newly discovered mineral in honor of the French paleontologist Eugène Dumortier (1801 - 1876). Occasional spellings such as dumorterite, dumortirite, dumortirite or dumoterite are therefore incorrect.
