Size of the stones 2.9 - 3.3 cm, diameter of the hole approx. 2.5 mm.

Tsvaorite is a newcomer among gemstones; the mineral was only discovered in 1967. Tsavorite was given its name by the Tiffany company in honor of the Tsavo East National Park in Kenya.

The intense green color is caused by traces of vanadium or chromium.
