This beautiful gemstone ball of blue-green apatite (stab.) has a diameter of 4cm and comes in the popular Lapis Vitalis gift box.

Apatite is popularly used in stone healing and for gemstone massage, as the mineral promotes motivation and determination.

The massage ball has a diameter of 40mm and is undrilled.

The name apatite is derived from the Greek word "apatáo" meaning "to deceive" and was coined in 1786 by the German mineralogist Abraham Gottlob Werner (1749 - 1817). Since apatite occurs in numerous different forms and colors, there is a great danger that apatite will be confused with another mineral. Spellings like apartith, apathite, apatite, appatite or apatiet are not correct.
