Gua Sha has been known for centuries in the healing art of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). The use of Gua Sha made from gemstones is still very widespread in Asia today, as it is easy to use and requires no prior knowledge.
In the western world, Gua Sha is mainly used in relaxing and draining wellness treatments. These can be applied to the whole body; treatment of the face is particularly popular.
