Thumb Stones owe their name to their use as a massage stone for the thumb. An ideal hand caressing stone, which can easily be carried in the trouser pocket due to its flat shape. Carried in the pocket, it stimulates - even unconsciously - to take in hand.
The Thumb Stones are also called Worry Stone. This form of the hand charm is taken in stressful situations with pleasure in the hand to play around with it and to become so a little more calm.
