The shape is - just like its big brother, the Large Palmstone - ideal for massage and wellness applications. The Small Palmstones are smaller and somewhat more elongated, which is why they can be used well for stone rests, in which only a smaller area of the body is to be covered. This shape is also particularly suitable for massages on the face and feet. The self-contained shape of the oval conveys a feeling of peace and harmony in a special way.

The name fluorite is derived from the Latin fluere (to flow) and refers to the mining term fluorspar for the fluorite. Spellings like floride, florite, flouride, fluorite or fluride are therefore not correct.
