With a size of approx. 3 x 2 cm, the labradorites are smaller than the well-known Small Palmstones, but are suitable for the same applications: Hand flatterer, pocket stone, Flat Stone, massage stone and much more!
Dark Labradorite (dark) belongs to the Feldspar group. The themes for which dark labradorite is used in gemstone healing are reflection and truth, intuition, depth of feeling and mental gifts.
The mineral was given its name "labradorite" in 1832 by the French mineralogist and professor François Bedaunt (1787 - 1850) due to its localities on the Labrador Peninsula. Occasional spellings such as labardorite, labradoride, labradoriet, labradorite, labratorite or lapradorite are therefore incorrect.
