Modern gemstone healing according to Michael Gienger uses stichtite in matrix when (inner) peace and serenity are to be promoted. Also in situations where decisions have to be made and implemented, stichtite in matrix is often used because of its supporting effect.
Stichtite was first found and described in 1910 on the west coast of Tasmania (Australia) by A.S.Wesley, chemist of a mining company. The mineral was named after Robert Carl Sticht (1856 - 1922), the manager of the mine. Spellings like Stichite or Stichite are therefore not correct.
