The Corner Stones made of purple jade weigh approx. 13 to 16 grams and are approx. 3.0 x 2.5 cm in size.

Finding place of the raw material: Bursa (northwest Turkey). Because of the place where it is found, purple jade is also known as Turkish jade or turkiyenite.
The Corner Stones take the form of historical mosaic stones (tesserae), which were already popular with the ancient Greeks as a material for handicrafts.
