The orca whale gave this fantastic Agate its name, as the polished tips with their colors and patterns are reminiscent of the majestic sea creatures. Both have the bluish-black and white veining in common.

Height of the flame-shaped Agates approx. 14 - 16cm, weight approx. 0.9 - 1.1kg.

Each agate cut is unique in its grain and shape; the pictures show only a few possibilities.

The orca agate is found on the west coast of the gemstone island of Madagascar near Ambanja; mineralogically, the gemstone is a multicolored chalcedony. Other names are orca stone, orcastone or orca stone and orcastone.

Orca agate has only been known for a good ten years, so there is little certainty about the significance of the mineral in gemstone healing. Due to its colorfulness, orca agate is often used to reconcile opposites such as white and black, head and gut, intuition and mind. Initial experience suggests that the gemstone combines the power of Onyx (black chalcedony) with the themes of enforcement, sober thinking and logic with that of white Agate (white) (security, light-heartedness, sincerity).
