Yooperlite (yooperlite) is the name given to pebbles made of syenite that contain fluorescent Sodalite. Yooperlite, so inconspicuous at first glance, is a representative of the feldspar group with quartz and nepheline as well as Sodalite, which glows colorfully under UV light.
Synonyms for yooperlite are glowing rock and glowdalite.
