The fluorite bracelet is threaded onto an elastic band.
The name fluorite is derived from the Latin fluere (to flow) and refers to the mining term fluorspar for fluorite. Spellings such as florid, florite, fluoride, fluorite, fluoride or fluride are therefore incorrect.
